Monthly Sustainers Circle
Want to do more? Make a lasting and year-round impact at KFL by becoming a monthly donor. Monthly donations are convenient for you and provide KFL with stable, year-round income. You can count on us and we can count on you!
Memorial and Honorary Gifts
Memorial gifts remember a loved one.
Honorary gifts commemorate an event or person who is still living.
Please note for whom the donation is being made and list all donors you wish to be recognized with contact information. This information goes in the Note/Memo section. This allows the library to send a letter of acknowledgment to the honoree or honoree family in addition to the donors.
Gift Book Program
Gift Books may be made to recognize birthdays, anniversaries or other special occasions. A library book plate is placed in each item added to the collection recognizing the event or person. KFL provides acknowledgment to the honoree or family member of the person honored.

In-Kind Contributions
We appreciate your in-kind contributions of all types. These primarily include books, DVDs, and audiobooks that KFL can then use to raise money during our book sales or sometimes add to our collection. These donations can also include other items as approved and accepted by staff.
We are now accepting book donations!
When you arrive please proceed to the main circulation desk where you will be asked to confirm that all materials meet our Donation Guidelines. KFL has a very generous community and as such, our donation guidelines help us fit our space and time constraints.
Planned Giving
Kennebunk Free Library offers opportunities to support the Library with Planned Giving. Contact Michelle Conners, Director.
Gifts of Securities
Kennebunk Free Library accepts donations of appreciated securities. Whether it's 100 shares of blue-chip stock or a new high-tech gadget, our government does indeed allow you to deduct these gifts as charitable donations. Moreover, you also avoid capital gains tax on the transfer. This double benefit means that you can leverage a larger donation by using appreciated securities rather than cash to make your gift.
We welcome gifts of publicly traded stocks, bonds, and mutual fund shares. Some donors own stock in privately held corporations; contact Director, Michelle Conners, to learn about using those assets to make a gift. The securities you use to make your gift must have been held by you for more than one year to be fully deductible.
Clynk
Turn your cans and bottles into a donation to KFL! Pick up one of our stickered Clynk Bags at the library during curbside hours; then return the full bag to Hannaford. Clynk will do the rest!
