The Sweet 16th Edition Library Race--Join Us!
On Friday evening, July 12, 2013, start your weekend with a good deed to benefit the Kennebunk Free Library: participate in the "Sweet 16th Edition Library Race", a 5K walk/run event through scenic downtown Kennebunk and its well known historic district. New this year is the wheelchair division.
There will be live music by the Mousam River Rats. Local vendors are sponsoring a free picnic dinner for participants, served on the Library's front lawn (a nominal fee is charged to those not running/walking). Picnics are always welcome so bring the whole family!
We also offer FABULOUS raffle items and services donated by local businesses, and a beer & wine garden! Remember to bring your ID as it will be required to make a purchase!
