Library Contest!
The fine print

The Library is now accepting submissions for our Creative Book Art Contest, where readers create accessories for a book that enhances its content. In the photo, the book My Antoniaby Willa Cather displays Antonias figure riding in an ox cart and adorned with a bonnet holding a wash tub.

A limited number of paperback books are available for you to use to create your artwork or you can use your own. KFL will lend standard book easels to prop up your display if needed.

Bring your entry by August 15th to the adult circulation desk. Creative Book Art will be on display for the month of August and part of September, and fellow patrons will vote for their favorite. The winner with the most votes will be announced on September 20th and will receive a fine free year and the most recent book by Paul Doiron, The Bone Orchard!

For more information, please call the Library at 207-985-2173 or email us.
