- Put out by the Maine Attorney General's Office, this site includes topics such as how to enforce your consumer rights; the Maine Unfair Trade Practices Act; consumer rights if you are sold defective goods, if your new car is defective when you buy a used car, when repairing your car or when you order goods by mail; the Attorney General's Model Landlord Residential Lease and the Attorney General's Model Home Construction Contract; and other consumer resources.
