Lifewise at Lunch 2010 : Monthly Program Lineup
Thursday, January 7th: The Secret to
Success: Make 2010 your year to feel more empowered and happy at home and
work. This workshop will teach you a proven formula for making your life more
rewarding – with resources you already have. You’ll create a fresh vision for
making your goals a reality in the coming year.
Thursday, February 4th: Improving
Your Intuition: All of us have intuition, an inner guidance system that can
help us make better choices and be more successful in all areas of life – if
we're willing to listen to what it has to say. This workshop will help you
to understand and rely on your intuition as your most vital solution-finding
resource. You’ll learn how to tap into your inner wisdom, with specific
strategies for increasing your intuitive power.
Thursday, March 4th: Thriving in the
Face of Change: The one constant in life is
change, so why are we so unsettled by it? This workshop will show you how to
weather the inevitable transitions of life -- everything from break-ups to
corporate downsizing -- from a more grounded perspective. You’ll learn how to
view change as a welcome opportunity for personal growth, not just a jarring
interruption.
Thursday, April 1st: Overcoming
Overwhelm: With so much information out
there on how to improve every area of your life – family, work, friendships,
your health, your home, the list goes on – it’s easy to feel pressured from a
sense that you have to "do it all, be it all, have it all." This workshop will
show you how to keep all the vital areas of your life thriving, with less stress
and a greater sense of peace and accomplishment.
Thursday, May 6th: Emotional
Intelligence: A high IQ doesn’t necessarily translate into academic, career
or social success. The most accurate predictor of success is emotional
intelligence, or EQ – the capacity to understand one’s self and others and apply
that understanding effectively in real world situations. This workshop will
cover the components of emotional intelligence, why it’s essential, ways to
increase it, and how to leverage it to enhance success in all areas of life.
Thursday, June 3rd: Getting Unstuck:
No matter what your goals or how ambitious you are, it is normal to occasionally
feel unmotivated, uninspired, and unable to reach the finish line. This
workshop will show you how to get going again when you’re feeling discouraged,
confused or just plain out of steam so that you can accomplish what’s important
to you at the office and at home.
Thursday, July 1st: Boosting Your
Creativity: This workshop is for anyone, even if you don’t consider yourself
a creative type, who wants to live from a place of greater imagination and
personal expression. You’ll learn how to move past creative blocks, get more in
touch with your inner artist, and bring more innovation into your life.
Thursday, September 2nd:
What’s the Use of Worrying?: Worrying
can be a healthy warning signal that alerts us to real dangers and helps us
prepare for the future. But worrying for no reason only leads to frantic days
and sleepless nights. This workshop will help you differentiate between what’s
worth worrying about and what’s not worth another thought. You’ll learn how to
curb needless worrying so that you can give your attention to what really
matters – and get more sleep.
Thursday, October 7th: Living from a
Strengths-based Perspective: Research shows that people are most successful
when they delegate what they’re not so good at and channel their energy into
getting even better at what they’re already good at. (Think Tiger Woods
and Donald Trump) This workshop will help you to appreciate and capitalize on
your existing strengths so that you can experience a greater sense of mastery
and productivity – and much less wasted energy.
Thursday, November 4th: Letting Go
of Self-Limiting Beliefs: Inner doubts –
and we all have them – can sabotage even the best laid plans. This workshop will
help you to take negative thinking less seriously, and create the mindset you
need to get out of your way and move forward with confidence.
